Topic:  Building an Effective IT Strategy

As your institution’s top technology professional, you may have an IT strategy or you may be considering building one.  Getting there in a way that results in an aligned, effective, actionable and sustainable manner is no easy task.  This Education Roundtable features a panel of five technology leaders from different institutions engaging in a discussion around building an effective IT Strategy.  It is a combination of ‘how-to’ and a discussion of change management issues to be aware of.  After listening and engaging in the conversation, participants will leave with a recipe for getting started and launching their IT strategy.

Panelists include:

  • Brian Basgen – AVP IT, Emerson College
  • Samantha Earp – VP IT & CIO, Smith College
  • Thomas Lynch III – CIO, Suffolk University
  • Ravi Ravishanker – CIO & Associate Provost, Wellesley College
  • Bob Wittstein (moderator) – VP & CIO, Bentley University
