Year Up Boston Graduate Featured as Luncheon Speaker at Boston CIO Forum

Submitted by Craig Horgan, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt
At last week’s Boston CIO Forum, we were fortunate to hear from Jonathan Pena, a recent Year Up Boston graduate who is currently working in a consultant role as a System Support Specialist at MIT’s Sloan School of Management following a successful internship there.
Jonathan addressed the audience of IT executives on his experience as a student with the Year Up program and how it has completely changed the course of his life, for the better.

“Thank you for giving me a great opportunity to share my story on how I got to the position I am in today. Couldn’t have been more blessed to talk to CIOs and show them what type of individuals they will be seeing in their company in the future.”

At SIM Boston we greatly value our Outreach Partners and giving back to the local IT community is one of the primary missions of the chapter.
