On Wednesday, August 9th, approximately 80 SIM Boston members, past presidents and guests boarded the Northern Lights yacht out of Rowes Wharf in Boston for a wonderful evening celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Boston Chapter of SIM.
The attendees enjoyed beautiful weather as they cruised around the Boston Harbor and watched the cannon fire from the U.S.S. Constitution at sunset. The evening included an open bar for the first hour, plenty of casual networking, a delicious dinner and celebratory cake and a few games as well – 40 years of trivia and a one-of-a-kind SIM Boston corn hole set which won in the raffle at the end of the night by past president and trustee, Sara Morgan (congrats again Sara!).
Once we returned to the dock at Rowes Wharf, the attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the final hour of the evening with dock-side viewing of live music from the Strictly Sinatra band, part of the Blues Barge live music series, Rat Pack Wednesdays.
